Winning Wimbledon Coach Nick Bollettieri at Carlson Companies Today

Minneapolis, MN (July 08, 2004) - The tennis world was shocked last weekend when Russian tennis sensation Maria Sharapova defeated Serena Williams in the women's final at Wimbledon. Today, Sharapova's legendary tennis coach Nick Bollettieri will be speaking at Carlson Companies in Minnetonka.

Bollettieri will be a guest at a noon luncheon and will talk about his experiences with Sharapova and others as well as field questions. Bollettieri will also be available for interviews following the luncheon.

Bollettieri was born in North Pelham, New York in 1931 and opened the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida in 1978. In 2002 Nick was inducted into the Italian American Sports Hall of Fame. He has coached tennis greats, Maria Sharapova, Andre Agassi, Monica Seles, Anna Kournikova, Jim Courier and Tommy Haas.
