T.G.I. Friday's Restaurants Brings Back Strawberry Fields Salad for the Summer

T.G.I. Friday's restaurants, which recently became the first restaurant chain in the category to offer a variety of smaller portion entrees at lower prices all day, every day, today announced it is bringing back a guest favorite, Strawberry Fields Salad with a protein bonus: chicken, which will be featured on its Right Portion, Right Price menu.
"The early success of the Right Portion, Right Price menu indicates that our guests enjoy big, bold flavors in both full and reduced sizes," said Mike Archer, president and chief operating officer, T.G.I. Friday's USA. "We're pleased to bring back Strawberry Fields Salad for the summer. It's one of our most popular seasonal entrees and now Friday's guests can enjoy one of their favorites as a 'Right Portion' entree and at the guests' request, we've added chicken to this popular menu choice."
Strawberry Fields Salad with Chicken features sauteed chicken served over mixed field greens, Parmesan cheese and glazed pecans tossed in Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing, topped with fresh balsamic marinated strawberries and shaved Parmesan cheese.
With the addition of Strawberry Fields Salad with Chicken, Friday's Right Portion, Right Price menu section now features eleven reduced portion entrees, priced between $6.99 and $8.99.
"The Right Portion, Right Price concept is based on consumer demand," continued Archer. "They spoke, we listened and we will continue to explore other opportunities within the concept to expand the choices for our guests."
Friday's also announced the addition of Grilled Portobello Pasta, a Portobello mushroom marinated and grilled, served over a bed of angel hair pasta, topped with Roma tomato-Basil salsa, balsamic glaze and Parmesan cheese. In other menu news, Friday's will also offer the following choices with its Caesar Salad: sauteed chicken, sauteed shrimp, steak or cedar-seared salmon.
