T.G.I. Friday's® Restaurants to Feature Training Menu with 'Cooper Approved' Entrees

T.G.I. Friday's® restaurants, official food sponsor of Wellstone's Dallas White Rock Marathon for the second consecutive year, today announced it will feature nine entrees evaluated and recommended by the Nutrition Department of the world-renowned Cooper Clinic based on overall health and what is appropriate for a good training diet at its 53 restaurants in Texas and Oklahoma (airports excluded).
The "Cooper Approved" marathon-branded options, as well as information about the race, will be featured via a special menu handout today through December 9, the day of the marathon.

This year's Training Menu includes Zen Chicken Potstickers (Fire-grilled dumplings stuffed with minced chicken and vegetables, sprinkled with pico de gallo and served with a sweet & tangy Szechwan dipping sauce), Grilled Portobello Pasta (Portobello mushroom marinated, grilled and served over a bed of angel hair pasta topped with bruschetta marinara, balsamic glaze and Parmesan cheese), Bruschetta Chicken Pasta (Al dente angel hair pasta tossed with fresh bruschetta marinara, topped with juicy strips of fire-grilled, marinated chicken breast, balsamic glaze and shavings of Parmesan cheese), Dragonfire Chicken (Plump, juicy, fire-grilled chicken breast glazed with Chinese Kung Pao sauce, served over stir-fried brown rice with pineapple pico de gallo, Mandarin oranges, and steaming broccoli in Cilantro Lime dressing), Asian Glazed Chicken On Field Greens (Juicy chicken breast glazed with spicy Asian sauce, toasted cashews and macadamia nuts, served over field greens tossed in Cilantro Lime dressing with red peppers and cucumbers), Cedar-Seared Salmon On Field Greens (Pan-seared salmon fillet with a cedar seasoning served over field greens tossed in tangy House Vinaigrette with grilled portobello mushrooms and grape tomatoes), Shrimp Key West (Skewers of chargrilled shrimp topped with a sparkling citrus splash served with steaming broccoli florets), Jack Daniel's® Chicken (Two juicy chicken breasts served with vegetables and mashed potatoes), Jack Daniel's® Flat Iron (Half a pound of one of the most flavorful, popular steaks around, expertly seasoned and fire-grilled to order, glazed and served with Jack Daniel's® sauce and creamy mashed potatoes).

Wellstone's Dallas White Rock Marathon was founded in 1971 by Dr. Kenneth H. Cooper and Pearl Harbor Survivor Tal Morrison and benefits the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
