T.G.I. Friday's® Bartenders Compete in World Bartender Championship; Proceeds to Make-A-Wish Foundation® of America

Carrollton, TX | November 05, 2007

Six T.G.I. Friday's bartenders, including two reigning division champions, from across the East coast continue their quest for the title of "Greatest Bartender in the World." Proceeds from the event benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, which grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. The following mixologists will showcase their knowledge and accuracy of bartending while demonstrating their freestyle flair skills -- tossing, balancing, mixing and flipping cocktails and bottles in the air:

  • Gabi Sztancsik, Watchung, New Jersey, 2006 East Division Champion

  • Chris Martinez, Clifton, New Jersey

  • Jesse Roenbeck, West Nyack, New York

  • Kristian Mihailin, Chesapeake, Virginia, 2006 Southeast Division Champion

  • James Brown, North Attleboro, Massachusetts

  • Ryan Burtch, Lake Grove, New York

More than 8,000 Friday's® mixologists from around the world are testing their knowledge and skills in their quest to reach T.G.I. Friday's World Bartender Championship hosted in Las Vegas this February.
