The Regent Beijin Officially Opens in Jinbao Street

Wah International Group and RegentHotels & Resorts today officially opened the doors to its first luxury hotel in Beijing, TheRegent Beijing. The opening was attended by Madam Chan Lai Wa, the founder of FuWah International Group - one of China's most celebrated entrepreneurs and a member ofthe National Committee of Chinese People's Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
The event comes just one year after the Park Plaza Beijing Wangfujing opened inJinbao Street, which is fast taking shape as an elite shopping, entertainment andresidential area, in the heart of the famous Wangfujing district.
The new 500-room hotel is owned by property development company, Fu WahInternational Group and managed by Carlson Hotels Worldwide - Asia Pacific, one of theworld's leading hotel companies and parent company for Regent Hotels & Resorts.
Madam Chan Lai Wa, the founder of Fu Wah International Group, said: "TheRegent Beijing is a key addition to our company's investment ventures.
