Carlson Marketing Hires Agency Veteran John Hiney as Managing Director in the UK

Carlson Marketing today announced the hiring of John Hiney as managing director of the United Kingdom (UK). In his new role, Hiney will be responsible for leading Carlson Marketing's operations in London, Northampton and Bristol. Hiney will report to Jonathan Harman, senior vice president, Carlson Marketing—Europe, Middle East and Africa.

An agency veteran with more than 16 years of experience, Hiney joins Carlson Marketing from Harrison Troughton Wunderman (HTW). Most recently he was managing director of HTW where he was responsible for integrating HTW and Wunderman Interactive.

Prior to HTW, Hiney was a business director with Rapier, leading the Automobile Association, Marks & Spencer and AXA accounts. During his career he also led the marketing programs group delivering digital campaigns for Hewlett-Packard, General Motors and Friends Provident while at Modem Media.
