Carlson Marketing Appoints Fay Beauchine EVP of Global Meetings, Incentives & Events

Carlson Marketing today announced the appointment of Fay Beauchine as executive vice president, Global Meetings, Incentives & Events. In her new role, Beauchine is charged with doubling the size of Carlson Marketing's meetings, incentives and events business around the world in the next few years. Beauchine continues to be based in Minneapolis and will report directly to Jim Schroer, president & chief executive officer, Carlson Marketing. She replaces Robbin Rouillard, who has left Carlson to pursue other interests.

Most recently, Beauchine was senior vice president of Enterprise Strategic Account Management for Carlson. In this role, she led a team of sales professionals from Carlson's marketing, hotel, travel, restaurant and cruise operating groups. Her efforts brought about unified strategic account management that improved the company's ability to meet customer needs across the Carlson enterprise.

Prior to joining Carlson in 2005, Beauchine served as vice president of Sales and Customer Care for Northwest Airlines. In this position, she directed Northwest and KLM Royal Dutch Airline's North American passenger sales strategies targeted to corporations, the U.S. government, travel management companies, tour operators, cruise lines, incentive companies and associations. In addition, she was instrumental in developing Sky Team's passenger alliance strategies within North America and was an active proponent of the global alliance network for business travellers.

Beauchine is a Certified Incentive Travel Executive and has served as a trustee for the foundations of the Society of Incentive & Travel Executives, the National Business Travel Association, and Meeting Planners International. In addition, she's been named co-chair of the prestigious Masters' Conference in Washington, D.C., for 2008.
