Jonathan Harman Promoted to EMEA President Role

Carlson Marketing has named current UK CEO, Jonathan Harman, as president, EMEA, handing him a range of new responsibilities.
Harman will assume responsibility for the agency's operations across its nine offices in the EMEA region. He will report into Jim Schroer, CEO, Carlson Marketing Worldwide, with UK managing director John Hiney heading up Carlson's UK operations, reporting directly to Harman. Carlson's major clients in the region include Air France KLM, BT, Coca-Cola, Etihad, Hyundai, Lloyds TSB, Saudi Telecom, Proximus and RBS.
Harman was made managing director of Claydon Heeley in 2001, before joining RMG Connect as CEO in 2004. He then moved to head Carlson's UK operations in November 2006. He has hired several key individuals over the past year including former HTW MD John Hiney, former Results MD Roy Barker and ex-EHS Brann creative directors Mark Attril and Graham Dexter. The agency expects to announce two further senior appointments in the coming weeks.

In the past year Carlson has recorded pitch wins for Castrol, Coca-Cola, RBS and Man Erf.
