T.G.I. Friday's® restaurants and its parent company Carlson Restaurants Worldwide Inc., was recently honored as one of the "Best Companies to Work for in Texas" for the second consecutive year. This annual program was created by the Texas Association of Business, the Texas State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management and Best Companies Group.

"Friday's is a great brand with a fun, highly energetic personality and we're very pleased to have been recognized with this award," said Mike Archer, president and COO, T.G.I. Friday's USA.

The Best Companies to Work for in Texas winners were identified by a statewide competition to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Texas, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses.

The selection process was based on an assessment of the company's employee policies and procedures and the results of an internal employee survey.

Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Texas with assistance from ModernThink LLC, who analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.

T.G.I. Friday's, which has 55 restaurants as well as the world headquarters in Texas, is featured in the February edition of Texas Monthly. Winners are also listed on www.BestCompaniesTX.com.
