Bridgecreek Group of Companies Announces Radisson Suites at RiverRun in Crowsnest Pass

Calgary, AB | February 20, 2008

Bridgecreek Development Corporation announces today a partnership with Carlson Hotels Worldwide to build Western Canada's first Radisson Suites Hotel at the company's RiverRun resort community in Crowsnest Pass. The Radisson Suites at RiverRun will anchor the 52-acre resort community and feature a lifestyle area including swimming pool, a restaurant, and other modern amenties anticipated by today's seasoned traveler.

"We're very excited about this partnership with Radisson and for the tourism opportunities it will bring to the Crownest area," said Colin Becker, President of Bridgecreek Group of Companies. "Visitors will soon have a modern basecamp for exploring the area all year long and we look forward to introducing the splendour of Crownest Pass to those who have not yet been fortunate enough to experience it first-hand," he said.

Construction of the 200-room all-suite property is expected to commence October 2008 with an anticipated completion of December 2009.

"This is an exciting opportunity to expand Radisson's presence in Canada and in such a premier, master-planned resort development as RiverRun," said David Oliver, vice president of development for Canada for Carlson Hotels Worldwide, parent company for Radisson Hotels & Resorts. "The hotel will be part of a unique location near a natural reserve that borders the Crowsnest River and Blairmore Creek and will provide Radisson guests with exceptional facilities and nearby outdoor activities including a ski hill, golf course and a full complement of amenities to make it a four season destination. We're thrilled about the chance to bring the benefits of the Radisson brand to this impressive property."
