Frank Trampert Named Executive Vice President of Revenue Generation for Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific

Frank Trampert has been named Executive Vice President of Revenue Generation for Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific (CHAP). The promotion was effective April 1, 2008.
In addition to Reservations, Distribution Services and IT, Trampert will be responsible for Revenue Optimization and e-Commerce, as well as Sales & Marketing for CHW's hotel portfolio in Asia Pacific. In his new capacity, Trampert will continue to report directly to Martin Rinck, President and Managing Director of CHAP.
Trampert has a distinguished track record with Carlson since he joined in February 1997. He played a leading role in establishing the Country Inns & Suites brand across Europe, and in December 1999, relocated to Washington, D.C., as Regional Operations Manager, overseeing the Mid-Atlantic U.S., Canada and Europe.
Since his arrival in Asia Pacific in March 2003, Trampert spearheaded the strategic direction and management of Distribution Services.Prior to joining Carlson, Trampert held various roles in hotel operations with Dorint Hotels, Moevenpick Hotels and Resorts, and The Leading Hotels of the World.
