Carlson to steer Smarter Driving initiative, following TfL roster appointment
London, UK | June 20, 2008
Carlson Marketing has won a place on the Transport for London (TfL) marketing services framework, after the agency won out in a competitive tender process. The appointment runs for a period of three years, taking the relationship through to 2011.
Following the appointment, Carlson Marketing has also managed to secure its first win on the roster, with the agency lined up to support the TfL 'Smarter Driving' initiative. The project is designed to educate drivers about their driving techniques and styles, offering smarter driving tips that could save motorists £120 a year, while also helping to reduce CO2 emissions.
Carlson Marketing has been tasked with developing a partnership marketing strategy for the project. The agency will be seeking to recruit a number of suitable partners in order to help promote the smarter driving message to their own customer segments across a variety of media channels.
Jonathan Harman, CEO, EMEA at Carlson Marketing, said: "This is a great win, especially following so closely on the heels of our appointment to the TfL roster. This appointment further strengthens our government and public sector credentials."
