T.G.I. Friday's® Restaurants Announce Expansionof Casino Restaurant Operations
Las Vegas, NV | October 22, 2008
Following the extraordinary success of the T.G.I. Friday's restaurant at The Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, T.G.I. Friday's restaurants (www.fridays.com) today announced the opening of four new T.G.I. Friday's restaurants located within casinos in Las Vegas over the next six weeks.
"The success of The Orleans T.G.I. Friday's restaurant is a testament to the synergy between the Friday's brand and casino customers," said Brad Honigfeld, chief executive officer of Briad Restaurant Group, LLC, the largest licensed T.G.I. Friday's franchisee in the U.S. "When you think of Las Vegas and casinos, you think 'high energy and fun' and that's what T.G.I. Friday's is all about."
Briad Restaurant Group, LLC opened the T.G.I. Friday's restaurant in The Orleans Hotel and Casino in April 2006. The restaurant is currently one of the top revenue producing restaurants among the 70 T.G.I. Friday's owned and operated by Briad Restaurant Group, LLC and is also one of the highest revenue generating restaurants among all 610 T.G.I. Friday's in the U.S.
In addition to today's grand opening at Sam's Town Hotel and Gambling Hall, another T.G.I. Friday's, located at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino, opened on October 20. Two others - the Suncoast Hotel and Casino and Aliante Station Casino + Hotel - will open by mid November. All current T.G.I. Friday's casino restaurants in the U.S. are owned and operated by Briad Restaurant Group, LLC.
"Despite the current unfavorable news coverage about the restaurant industry, the T.G.I. Friday's brand continues to grow and the expansion of our casino restaurants is the perfect way to connect with our guests and reach new guests," Honigfeld said.
T.G.I. Friday's will be open for breakfast at Sam's Town Hotel and Gambling Hall and Gold Coast Hotel and Casino - a first for Briad Restaurant Group's T.G.I. Friday's.
