T.G.I. Friday's® Restaurants Announce St. Patrick's Day Party Plans
Carrollton, TX | March 02, 2009
T.G.I. Friday's restaurants (www.fridays.com) today announced plans for its all-day March 17 St. Patrick's Day party which includes Friday's®-style buttons, $2 green beer and half-price appetizers for all guests at participating restaurants.
"We're telling our guests, 'Get your Shamrock On!' and get into the St. Patty's Day spirit at Friday's," said Andrew Jordan, senior vice president of marketing for T.G.I. Friday's USA. "St. Patty's is one of the best party days of the year and we'll be doing it up right with green beer, fun buttons, food specials for everyone and a little something extra for our Give Me More Stripes members." Jordan added, "You won't need a four leaf clover to get lucky at our St. Patty's Party."
In addition to $2 green beer and half-price appetizers, Friday's will be offering drink specials all day, or as Jordan prefers to say, "In those restaurants where we can do it legally."
The more than 730,000 members of Friday's Give Me More Stripes (www.givememorestripes.com) guest recognition program will also be treated to double stripes all day long and a free half order of Loaded Potato Skins (coupon was emailed to members and is required for redemption), Friday's signature appetizer featuring potato skins loaded with Cheddar cheese and crisp bacon, served with sour cream and green onions. "We love getting a party going on a Tuesday and on March 17 we're going to show the world that everyone's Irish at T.G.I. Friday's," said Jordan.
