Carlson anticipates travelers’ needs, launches enhanced breakfast menu at Country Inns & Suites By Carlson℠
Minneapolis, Minn. | October 26, 2010
Carlson, a privately held, global hospitality and travel company, is launching an expanded breakfast offering at its Country Inns & Suites By CarlsonSM hotels in North America to better meet travelers’ changing needs.
“We are responding to guest feedback and lifestyle changes by providing a comprehensive breakfast offering with a lot of variety,” said Steve Mogck, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Country Inns & Suites By Carlson. “One of the key priorities of our strategy is to know the trends that are important to travelers and to enhance services that add value for guests who choose to stay with us.”
Country Inns & Suites’ complimentary Be Our Guest Breakfast features enhancements rarely found in the midscale segment, including a new hot rotating menu. In response to evolving market trends, including guests’ desiring healthier eating choices, the breakfast buffet also includes an array of healthier breakfast options. The expanded breakfast provides a new “To Go” station for guests on the run, and an assortment of breakfast favorites such as waffles.
“Complimentary breakfast is a key component of guest satisfaction in midscale hotels,” added Mogck. “Country Inns & Suites prides itself on providing an outstanding value to our guests, including relevant amenities like our newly expanded breakfast, complimentary high-speed Internet access, freshly baked cookies, weekday newspaper, and exercise facilities and pools at many properties.”
The brand also added rotating daily entrees along with diverse build-your-own entrée options including omelet and breakfast burrito bars and a yogurt parfait bar. Complementing the enhanced breakfast is the brand’s new signature coffee, HIGHRIDGE COUNTRY RESERVE™ that is Rainforest Alliance Certified™. The Rainforest Alliance is a non-profit organization that works to support the farmers, improve the lives of workers, and protect the environment for future generations.
