Club Carlson members donated 20 million loyalty club points in support of Typhoon Haiyan victims in the Philippines

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group’s Club CarlsonSM members in Asia Pacific have generously donated 20 million Club Carlson Gold Points® via the Club Carlson website in support of the American Red Cross Disaster Relief efforts in the Philippines. The points donated by Club Carlson members are equivalent to more than $30,000 cash donation.

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has been encouraging members to donate Club Carlson Gold Points® to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief effort. To encourage donations, Carlson and the Carlson Family Foundation agreed to match donations of up to $10,000. The total amount committed by Carlson and the Carlson Family Foundation is more than $50,000, which will go to relief groups such as Internal Rescue Committee Typhoon Haiyan Fund and American Red Cross Typhoon Appeal. At the same time, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Asia Pacific, which operates Park Inn by Radisson Davao and Radisson Blu Cebu in the Philippines, is collecting donations from employees to help their Philippines-based colleagues who were affected by the typhoon.
