Michael T.P. Sweeney

Michael Sweeney was Chief Executive Officer and President of Steinway Musical Instruments, Inc. He was also Chief Executive Officer of the company’s Steinway & Sons subsidiary.

He also serves as director of First Solar, Inc., where he chairs the Compensation Committee, and he is trustee of Walker Art Center.

A graduate of Swarthmore College, he and his wife, Elizabeth Perlich Sweeney, have four children.
