Scott C. Gage
Gage has spent approximately 30 years in the travel, hospitality, and real estate industries, both in operations and at a board capacity. After graduating from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts in arts and science and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, Gage spent 17 years running Gage Outdoor Expeditions — a global travel and hospitality company specializing in adventure travel. Currently, Gage is Chair of Carlson. Previously, he was Co-Chair and Co-CEO of Carlson Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Carlson. Gage also chairs the Carlson Real Estate Company Board and serves on the Carlson Holdings Board.
On the philanthropic front, Gage has been actively involved for approximately 20 years in helping reshape and improve the “education gap” in underserved neighborhoods in Minneapolis. Gage has served as Vice Chair on the KIPP Charter School Board, as well as the Carlson School of Management’s supporting organizing board. He served on the Carlson Family Foundation Board for 16 years and the Augsburg University StepUP Board for 11 years.
